My Grandma just recently passed away & per her wishes each Grandaughter and Great Grandaughter got some of her jewlry, after everyone selected a few special pieces the rest was up for grabs, well these clip-on earrings sure caught my eye, as i new i wouldn't get use out of them for earrings, i knew i could if i changed them into rings i would. I picked up a pack of ring blanks at Hobby Lobby & went to work... i now have several treasures i can wear.

Easy Peasy Home Decor

For this i cut some Canvas Corp Burlap the size of the mat, ran through my Xyron to get edge to edge adhesive, Glued on a button from a stash i got from my husbands Grandma & voila. Simple Easy Peasy Decor. This was a small shadowbox frame.

Magazine Frame

After a recent shopping trip & seeing a similar idea in a department store, i thought i'd give my hand at this frame & i'm lovin how it turned out.

I purchased the frame at a local Goodwill for $1.38 , i then took out the glass & backing & ran the frame through the Creatopia to get the entire front of the frame sticky. I then took magazines & tore out various pages, trimming the edges to size i then used the Xyron Mega Runner & ran adhesive down one edge of the magazine page. I used a shish ka bob skewer then to roll the page up, leaving the adhesive edge to be last rolled. I then stuck the rolled magazine page seam side down to the adhesive side of the frame.

Got my hands on this just released Sugar & Spice Collection by Riley Blake Designs.

All of these projects & more will be featured on the HSN channel March 30th @ 12AM CST along with a great deal on a Xyron Creatopia Fabric Bundle.

I made this baby bib,to make the flower i used my Xyron Creatopia Shapez Component along with a Spellbinders die.

i also used them to make the flower on this headband:

Oven Mitt:

The Xyron Fabric Adhesive worked great to hold all the layers togther while i was stitching the designs in the front & back of the oven mitt pieces prior to sewing together.

i had some much fun making this oven mitt, i think everyone might get them for Christmas this year ;0)

Love when i find something at Goodwill that i can repurpose, cut some Canvas Corp Chalkboard paper to fit half of corkboard to serve memo board as a dual purpose, my Xyron adhesive worked great to adhere everything.

Just need to get the perfect picture printed for the frame portion ;0)

Made the pushpins for Sassafras stickers placed on chipboard, then i cut them out & glue dotted them onto a thumb tack.

Continuing on with "Operation Getter Done", i went last Friday to a crop at my LSS , The Scrapbooking Studio from 6 -midnight with my mom, sis, & some scrappy friends.I managed to get three layouts done & had lots of fun & laughs.

Used bits & pieces of my daughters race bib for this, i really struggled, but was happy how it turned out.

Feeling a bit overwhelmed lately with the ever ending amount of pictures that i take & the ones i want to scrap & all the ones in photo boxes it makes me feel like not even scrapbooking. :0( So i decided that out with the overwhelming feeling that i'm going to push aside all that & my motto now is "Operation Getter Done".I started by cleaning up pictures off my computer by uploading them to develop & then burning them to cds. Today I am using Spellbinders S4-288 Classic Diamonds die template and i altered this candle for a nice Fall centerpiece

i also used Spellbinders S4-125 Classic Scalloped Circles Small die template &

Xyron adhesive.

Next i used the lovely Xyron Creatopia Fabric adhesive & the Classic Diamonds i cut felt shapes & then ran them through the fabric adhesive sandwiched a bit of batting between them & the adhesive worked perfectly to hold the diamonds together while i stiched these ornaments..sorry no tree up yet to display them on ;0). The centers were made with the S4-192 Blossom dies. Add a little bling to the center & a christmas tree hook & these are ready to go.

I then decided to try my hand at using the negatives & play with some mist, so i made a few Christmas cards

an update on my Sister-in-Law, long over due i know, since her benefit & all the chemo treatments, Leslie had to get a bone marrow transplant, luckily her sister was a match. In June, Leslie & my brother went to Chicago~Loyola Hospital & she had her transplant done, they had to stay within 20 miles of the hospital for 100 days in isolation with tons of restrictions. Well happy to announce that they are back now & her donor cells have taken over 100% & their is no Leukemia cells. Woo Hoo on her fight!!! Thank You to everyone that kept her in your thoughts & prayers.

Back to the benefit i had brought a guest book for everyone to sign & had every intention of decorating prior to the benefit, and with all the planning & gathering of donations i ran out of time..finally i finished it & was able to give it to her.

{ Heart } Xyron Laminate Cartridges = Fun Mad Scientist Birthday Party

I soo Love my Xyron machines..the laminating cartridge is just one of the many options for these handy machines available for the 510 model,900 model, and the new Creatopia. I found the laminating cartridge very handy in planning my daughter's Mad Scientist 10th Birthday Party this year and even used the permanent cartridge for making labels for treat bags & take home favors as well.

Used the Laminating cartridge for party favors, laminated recipe cards ~ the Squishy icecream that we made at the party ..soo they could make at home again :0)

It came in handy for the Experiment cards..instructions on one side & the reasoning on the other..made it perfect so they didn't get wet with any of the "magic chemicals"

I set up tables & had stations..so each party guest was at a station & after a few minutes we'd switch around the table

one of the stations i created a game..called mini molecules, i took closeup pictures
of everyday household items ..numbered the backs..laminated the pictures & they had to fill out their guesses for a chance to win a special prize.

My favorite part was the "lab coats" i got lucky at a local Salvation Army..i found womens white blouses..& i just happen to hit the store on a fill a bag for $5.oo sale..yep i got 16 shirts for $5.00. Me & my daughter came up with funny names taken off of the party guests names & created name tags..the laminating cartridge worked excellent for this too!

the Xyron 510 permanent adhesive worked so perfect for the girls to run there patterned paper pieces through and adhere, no adhesive lines showing through the clear cd cases...

Running the patterned paper through & got adhesive on one side & then running through the other side, makes the perfect "sandwich" to place cubes together :0)

Made this little bedroom set...

Playing with my Xyron Creatopia & some Spellbinders Dies

A closeup of the pillow:

used the Creatopia shapez unit & the Spellbinders dies to cut the flower & felt pieces for the pillow. I then ran the pieces through the fabric adhesive cartridge..so simple.

the Shapez unit worked perfect for these hairclips too:

and a closeup of the doorknob hanger..this was aweome because i used the Spellbinders die to create my flower opening for the doorhanger to hang, it cut through the foam easy peasy..just like butter & for the flower pieces i embossed my pieces first with a cuttlebug embossing folder then cut out with the die, i used some Stampin UP! markers to accent the details of the embossing . I did this as well on the container..see below:
