Megan's Week 4 Challenge

2} Scrap about your "other half". Your hubby, hubby-to-be, etc.

Okay the story with this, those that know me, know that i'm not into myself & i totally hate my butt, my worst feature, okay with that said, Megan kinda dared me to scrap this "other" half, since i was having a hard time trying to figure out my hubby layout.

Got these jeans for $5.38 at Goodwill & had never heard of the brand, went home looked them up & found out they were $220.oo-was i thrilled with my find of the day & they fit perfect too !! Woo Hoo!

The title comes from a joke my husband always says, hence the brand Diesel?!

I used Rusty Pickle Big Top p.p., Tim Holtz p.p., Paper Studio epoxy & foamie stickers, Carolees stickers, misc. buttons & Maya Road sheer journal diecut. I used my Xyron Design Runner for the stitching & the circle border.

Journaling reads:
Four kids, sometimes I can’t believe I have four kids.
And I’m only 30 years old! I love it.. It is so funny
to go out with all my kids. We can’t go out without one
person asking, “Are these All yours?” often followed by
the question, “how old” or “how far apart” are they?

I love the patience and perspective that having 4 kids gives me.
I know how trying some moments are and that phases don’t
last forever and i can get through anything if i just take it a
moment at a time. So when I get those looks and questions when
I’m out, i just chuckle. because I love being a Mom, it’s the
greatest title ever.

This layout is for this months scrap club sketch (pagemaps) & and also this weeks Art Frekles use your stash challenge.
The vellum is so old, i think it's from one of my very first purchases-LOL!
Then i just threw the rest of the pictures in 8 x 12 EveryDay Stories protectors- easy peasy.

List to use:
1. Stamps from one of the following companies: Heidi Swapp, Fancy Pants, Basic Grey, Daisy Bucket, Micheals $1-1.50 bin
2. Paint or Glitter (powder or glue)
3. Ribbon
4. Vellum (vellum die cuts are fine!)
5. Brads (minimum or 3)
6. Chipboard Alpha's
