Another door closes......

Today, i received this in my email, i am still numb & in shock...

I am grateful for the four wonderful years i had with I Remember When & my Scrapbook Club Ladies, i guess when one door closes, another one opens, we'll see what happens for me in the future.....

Dear I Remember When Instructors:

It is with a heavy heart I announce that effective immediately we are closing I Remember When as it currently exists. As you know, this economy has taken a toll on every type of business, and the craft market is no exception. Unfortunately, as every company must make changes to survive this financial crisis, Xyron has had to take a hard look at our situation and make some difficult decisions.
The IRW forum, personal websites and blogs will be closed down end of business today (4pm PST). If you have an IRW email address, it will remain active until October 19, 2009.
To you, the IRW family, we struggled with this decision and worked very hard to find a different outcome. We at Xyron have appreciated your loyalty, your ideas, and we wish you every success.
Sincerely,

Chris Phillips
President Xyron Inc.

Wow - just a few hours notice? Christina, I felt much emotion when I left IRW a couple of years ago, but MemoryWorks has been a SUPER fit, I love it and remember JUL is there!

Sorry Christina. Don't worry though you are super talented and there is someone else out there that will be happy to snatch you up.

What a shocker! I feel sorry for you and all of us too. I'm sure we will all have questions later, but for now Thanks Christina for all you've done. You are a great inspiration.
